Blue Tails Legal? HELP!
I was thinking of buying some blue lens spray and spraying my back tails blue but the only thing I'm not sure about is if it's legal to do that. So does anyone know if it's legal to do that and also does the blue color affect the brake and back up lights color? Please help. Oh and if anyone has any pictures of sprayed tails in any color please post them! Thanks.:grey:

im not certain about the actual laws on that, but i would assume that as long as the light shines red at night or when you brake, its still legal. although cops will probably give you shit since theyll look at your car and see blue. i have my tails all red, but thats just basic, and obviously legal. but i did paint over the clear reverse square, but what are the chances im gonna get stopped by a cop going backwards.

Well all I can help you with is the laws in Hawaii anything blue to your car you get a $1000 for impersinating a cop. Even HID lights any angle that it even looks blue you'll surely get a ticket. Laws in Hawaii suck they just made a new law about a week ago....30 mph over the speed limit = $2000 fine or 1 year in jail then the second offense is something greater (I forgot) third offense they impound your car.

First off, your reverse lights, can be any color you want them to be, secondly, you cannot paint your tailights blue, because they must have a visible red reflector on them, that is why clear lights are illegal. and brake lights must be a visible red only, and that is the only visible red lights you can have while driving, or its is considered impersonating law inforcement. But come on, how many people are actually going to mistake your rice stick for an actual police car?, unless its one of those new fangled ways that cops are trying to become one with the kids of today
