Intake??

Alright..Im not big on doing mods to my car, but ive been told that an intake is worth the money..
Can you guys give me an idea of what the changes would be to the car with one? ie. power, sound..

I have a 96 vtec.

Expect around 3-5 HP throughtout the power band. Better throttle response. The engine's sound is alot more hollow and deeper toned, depending on the material the intake is made from. Combine this with the right kind of exhaust and you have yourself one mean sounding car, but the satisfaction of the power and sound of your car will never come to a standstill, because our love for power and preludes have to start from somewhere. ;-)

It's barely noticeable when driving (meaning, torque gains aren't that much).
