Re: HOW THE HELL do you get the YOKE FLANGE OFF DIFF
If you cannot get a large enough puller from any source maybe rent or borrow one, try using 2 fairly heavy brass hammers and using 2 people try to hit the yoke from both sides at the same time, doing this you may damage the rear pinion bearing though.

Re: HOW THE HELL do you get the YOKE FLANGE OFF DIFF
Did you try penetrating oil on it, put some good tension on it. Walk off and leave it for about 30 minutes or an hour. Come back and try some more tension on it.
If your going to replace everything anyway, use a little heat on the yoke. Be aware, if any hot oil or grease blows out on you, it's going to leave a mark. Use safety glasses. If your not comfortable using heat, then don't. Safety is your responsibility. I wouldn't want pressure to build in the diff. |

Re: HOW THE HELL do you get the YOKE FLANGE OFF DIFF
I use a ball joint puller The big 1 They had two claws on it it worked well the other seal you speak of is on the yolk and I believe it's a dust seal I got it together no leak but I do have a small vibration not sure if it's bearings
in the rear housing |

Re: HOW THE HELL do you get the YOKE FLANGE OFF DIFF
Did you match mark the yoke to the housing and u-joint before you took them off so they could be put back in the same position? Very important. This is my guess what small vibration is from.
