Need Help, replacing tweeters, how do you get the door panel off?
Hey guys and gals, I've got a 94 Integra GSR and have some new Kicker 6.2s. I can't figure out how to get the darn door panels off. I think I got everything but the door handle housing. Anyone have any hints?
Thanks in advance. Todd |

I've taken my door panel off at least 10 times now replacing speakers and wiring and stuff. Heres what you need to unscrew:
1. The door handle for opening the door has a small flap that you have to pry open with a small screwdriver. Unscrew the screw behind the flap and remove the whole plastic piece by pulling the handle that opens the door and slipping the plastic piece off. 2. The handle on the armrest has a screw at the bottom of it, unscrew that and remove the plastic handle. 3. There is a plastic screw near the front top of the door, it is covered by the dash when the door is shut. Unscrew that about halfway then pull the whole piece off.(it has 2 pieces, you can get it off easier if you pull it out with the screw) 4. Then starting from the bottom side of the door, slip your fingers between the panel and door and start pulling. There are plastic tabs that hold it on the door, just pull them off one by one. don't worry, it will make popping noises as you pull the tabs out but its not breaking it. 5. After the panel is free you have to pull the panel straight up because it hangs on the window slit. Hope this helps. |
