Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Revell 1/24
Dear fellow modellers,
today I picked up my christmas present for some pics to start the WIP.......  Yes, that´s nice...    Here are now the original wheels. Fine rims, but without tyres. How about that? Revell did a mistake in the packing department. The guys there packed the wrong tyres inside.  The SLS is fast I bet, but do we need F1-tyres? No. So the correct one I´ve ordered... For the first pics I used some other tyres...   It seems, that the wheels have the right size!!! Thanks Revell The other purpose for the wheels are the Brabus of the Aoshima SL. I think, I´ll use them.   I hope, you´ll enjoy the pics. It´s a fine kit, with many parts in nearly Tamiya quality. Only one thing to say: Please Revell, stop your special style to fix the wheels! Take the same system like Tamiya, Fujimi, Aoshima........ It would be a big wish for the next kit. Now back to my kit. Colour? Probably dark grey (no metallic) Interior? Red Rims? the Brabus´ So, let´s wait and see how fast I can finish it. Tschöö Dirk

Wow I didn't know it was out already. Looking forward to seeing this built up. Nice to see the doors can be opened and that the kit has a full engine.

Good to see this one. I don't much like the car but i do want to see how the kit goes together and how the finished model looks.

Thanks for sharing, first one ive seen being built. Im definetly going to get this one as it seems like it has many parts!!

I just grabbed this model. It looks nice! At least the plastic is better than typical Revell! Much harder!
