|
anyone have a small block conversion in their s10 blaze??
i stick to the modeling forum, but i just wanted to wander on over here and see if there were any v8 conversion guys that post here. post pics or links if you got em! i am in the process right now, and have no pics to show.

well i'm planning on putting a 350vortec in mine. then most likely i'm going to put a corvette axle on it
 (hehehe). i my self am not going to put it in though. the guy that i buying it from can put it in in four hours with no extra cost(and that includes either a 350 shorttail tranny or a 400turbo tranny(my choice).ican tell you this he did somewhat explain to me how he does it. all he said was that he extends the radiator and shortens the length of the fan and that's it. i hope this helps and good luck.

307 with a 350 tranny here. My top speed is suffering ALOT, and the popular thoght is because the rear end. Can that be it? Or is it my three-speed tranny with no overdrive?

I have a 94 S10 blaze with a 355 turbo 350 tranny 2200 rpm stall.Ican beat a stock Z28 thats about it.I loved the look on his face.It was easy
going in and out. I had to pull the engine out i seased up 2 wristpins. so its not running right now.

I was thinking of trying to shove an older Corvet engine into my 95 for a nice kick of power I have the engine sitting on a stand totally rebuilt ready to drop in, Not sure if I want to try to shove an engine that big into my 95 Chevy Blazer. I would have to cut into the fire wall and mabey even extend the front, I don't know it it's really worth it.
