Does anyone have black lights under their dash boards?

Does anyone have black lights under their dash board? How does it look? Does it look good, or too ricie??

I don't have black lights, but I have blue neons mounted under my seats. It looks nice, the rice thing to do would be to mount them from your a-pillar so you couldn't see at night.

Huh no shit, i just mounted some blue neons under my seat too..they look really nice...just a nice glow at night.

Just curious though...on yours, where did you wire it in and where did you mount an on/oiff switch?

I can't say that I have any neon bars or anything, but I do have a neon wire running across the seam between the back seat and the rear deck. I'll get pics whenever the digi cam gets new batteries. It's subtle enough that the cops leave me alone, but just enough to make me happy... well, atleast for now!

I've got BLUE neon tubes, 2 under the dash and 1 under driver and 1 under passenger seat. looks really good and totally non-ricey. (the lights turn on when the doors open!)

Well, I think that there's a good chance i'll do it, but not really sure what color yet, was thinkin' more of the black lights, but thinkin' how the Blue or red might look, what do you guys think?

I'm thinking of doing something like wicked and have 2 in the front and 2 under the seats, and a couple in the trunk when i get it customed, but you think one more on the back next too the rear speakers would be too much?

Hey man, i put one under each seat for mine and i think it looks great. It gives off a nice glow for the front as well as for peeps in the rear. Plus it doesnt affect your vision when driving. Something under the dash *may* cause this if you place it somewhere where it was bright.

Another consideration is that these things do flicker like any other neon...and if its right in your field of vision...itd get damn annoying. Under the seats, you cant notice this.

Make sure you find out which one you want...some have a transformer built in, others dont. Also you will probably want to wire a switch inline to the transformer from the power if you wanna turn it on and off. I used a microswitch from rat shack.

If you are going to do neon, you should put under your dash (where you cant see) and some at the foot of the back seats......your whole floor will glow!! If you go wit black lights, put them under the front seats......they will still work, and you wont be looking at them(getting blinded! LOL!):alien: :licker: :smoka: :flash:
