|
anyone have chrome rings on their rims? or 13" aftermarket wheels?
those chrome rings that go on steel rims...i am thinking of painting my stock wheels black and have a chrome ring around them. Thanks! oh, i was looking for pics if you did have some on.
I can not find any aftermarket 13" wheels either, if anyone can point me in a direction to find some. this is a low buget project for me by the way

If you want a nice looking 13'' try and find some Civic VX rims. They are only 9lbs and look pretty nice for such a small rim.

Yeah ebay probably, or try thepartstrader.com
VX are 13'' and 9lbs while HX rims are 14'' and 12lbs but much harder to find. It seems VX rims are very common. You could probably get a set for $100 or a little more or less.

I got a set of VX rims and tires on ebay for $82, with shipping they came to a total of 192.05, I will be sure to post some pics once I get em

Come to think of it, my friends g/f's civic has chrome rings on her DX steelies.
 I will try to get a close up sometime

thanks! i really did a number on my two pass. side wheels today tying to get them off so i need to paint them now. i think black will look good if i can find the rings to fit.

I have beauty rings on my Nissan pickup... I hate any form of hubcap... they look fake and they always fall off or come loose. I have them because it looks a lot better with them, I feel it looks empty with just the steel rim.
