At certain points I couldn't tell if I was watching a documentary on England or a feature on the McLaren F1. :uhoh: :rofl:

The car in the showroom appears to be red - more than likely chassis #021 I would think. Hopefully we do get to see this in color at some point.

I think that other LM'97 preparation and pre-qualifying clip has been here already but it never hurts to see it again. BTW, the black GTR at the beginning is 19R in its test livery, then 24R as it was prepared for Le Mans at Paul Ricard and then in pre-qualifying. Also the 20R Gulf #41 is seen shortly with the pale blue mirrors that were normally used on 22R, and lastly 26R as Fina #43. ;)

Yep, that Le Man's clip is very great peace of histrory indeed!
Not so much GTR's but the main thing is the sound can be heard even the car isn't on the screen. That's is enough!

Thanks for the details of that 1997 GTR clip. I wasn't sure was it or wasn't it #19R, it's not it's presentation livery so never know these ones, specialty when S.Soper had BMW Motorsport's logos on his chest.

Seeing that a green colored f1 is being assembled nearby I could
say it is possibly #052.:cool:

I won't guarantee it is not #052, however #003 which was the primary car featured in that video was sold to a Japanese owner and arrived in Japan in early 1996. It appears from the Chassis History poster that #052 was produced late in 1996, after the GTRs had been completed. I would tend to think there is a better chance of the dark blue F1 seen there being #046 in its original 'Genesis Blue Metallic' paint which would also be interesting because we don't have any photos of that at all.
