It' unbelievable to see how the driver watches the mirrows during the mulsane straight 6th gear 7000 rews about 300+kmh, big V12 shouting at the back, "hands up for thanks" on the other driver when got past him! GREAT! And the sound full thortle on the staight!
God I miss that time! OH! And the gearbox! Look the gearbox! Working totally different way than usually! Up -> front and down -> back of the gearstick! OU MY.....JUST SHOCKING!

Was the gearbox working at 021R (Lehto-Soper 1997) the same way or did they had modifications of this thing!?

Perhaps it would be wise to put some structure to the list and separate it out a bit?

- Documentary stuff like "Car's the Star" and Top Gear clips

- F1 Road car driving/sightings

- F1 GTR race/driving footage

- Etc.

First it would make it easier to find stuff, and second it would be harder to miss that something had already been shared. Just a thought.

I watched that clip again, whit VOLUME. Just fantastic to hear just the most importat thing, ENGINE SOUNDS and nothing else!! :runaround: Many times McLaren's diferent angles! The sound at the straights...... is so.....unbelievable!

Yep, LM-GTR, there is something mysterious about them, something just can't describe at any words. :runaround:

Specialitely the end of the clip when serval times GTR comes the end of the straight chancing down sixth to third and then the thortle up to another straight (sorry not to remember the straight name or the curves name)..... Quite strange how the chassis numbers changed during the 1997 season. Lehto-Soper used three different chassis during the season.
Helsinki GT 21R
A1 Ring race 26R.
LeMans 24R

Could anyone had a clear answer of this question, why they changed the chassis serval times during the season? Is there somekind of changing an old one to the new chassis thing going on of what is the subject?
