Now have to say, when had oportunity to experience the Tour this year... (sorry if I'm chating of it all the time), and had opportunity to be onboard F1 (sorry again).... This car.... Nothing... how would I say. I can't find words!
Well...it is......... any Lamborgini, or Ferrari or Porsche can not do this, just when you park it to the parking lot.... It is The F1...... My Word.

Driving Ambition, page 98: “At one stage even the works prototype test hack car - chassis ‘01R’ - was taken to the races to act as an effective ‘Hangar Queen’, just to be on hand as an absolutely complete car-set of parts, ready to be cannibalized should the situation demand.”

This is fantastic! Im at work right now so I'll have to watch the whole thing tonight but its great to see a behind the scenes doco about this era. Have always enjoyed these type of docos about sportscar racing. Shame theres not that many around. Even better that this is about the F1 GTR.

Would love to find races in English from BPR 95/96 and FIA GT 1997 as they are in very short supply

01R at... Laguna Seca? I was surprised to learn that the Le Mans winner was stateside for this years Monterey Motorsports Reunion (I don't keep up on these things). Short clips are popping up on YouTube, but this is the one that counts. :wink:
