EDIT: Something I never noticed when watching before, at the very end the announcer says. "McLarens finished 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 12th." The last McLaren to finish was actually 13th. I wonder how and why they got that wrong?

HOH its Mika Häkkinen early 90's! I think quite close 1994, there was shots of McLaren Peugeot at Suzuka and McLaren had Peugeot engines that year.

The first one was absolutely superpb! :runaround:
Interesting, the gearbox really did not made so much noise than I would expected.

The second one also was good and fortunately there was good long clip of #11R:lol2:.

Good observation. It could have been replaced with a road car unit without the straight cut gears. :dunno:

Footnote.

All 96 GTR,s for road use, have to be fitted with a 95GTR or road car spec gearbox, to achive the correct ride height/suspension geometry. Thus making it an expensive road conversion.
