Well Guys, The fun is over..... I sold my GSX.

Well I put my car on autotrader a few weeks ago and I had someone purchase it about 5 days ago. Honestly, I miss my car and all the fun it brought, but the constant time it spend in the shop, took its toll on me. So It was sold. I just wanted to say thanks to all the people here on automotive forums that helped me make my GSX the beast it was when I had it. Especially Kevin since he practially told me the setup to use to get my car in the low 11's. But unfortunatly I never was able to get full boost because of lack of tuning. But the 16 psi I ran was enough to kill most of the cars I raced at the ontario street races like the 03 Mustang Cobra, 20G Talon TSIAWD, 05 Mustang GT and the TransAm WS6 that I've beaten.

Well the person who bought it lives down in LA, so everyone out there becareful cause this car is no joke. Also you need to becareful because the kid who bought it was only 15 years old. His dad came out and paid CASH for the car. And this is his sons first car.... hell the kid doesn't even have his licence. I hope he'll be able to handle the power in that car without killing himself or someone else. Well anyways, for People who didn't know me. Here is some information about my car.

First, congrats on finally selling it. Second, that was one of the nicest DSM's I've ever seen... looks so sleeper on the outside. Third, that kid is gonna wreck the car, and kill himself. 15 year old kid who doesn't have a liscense and this is his first car is a disaster waiting to happen. I hope that kid is somewhat responsible and knows what he has under that hood now. Have you decided on the next car yet?

Thanks for all the support guys. I tried my best to baby the hell out of that car. But like I said, things really started to add up, price wize and I couldn't afford to keep it. I'm really missing it though, espcially since I have no car at the monent. My Girl is my only form of transportation. And I still have no idea on what I'm going to get now. I can't decide if I wanna go with payments again, or If i just should get a beater and save up.

But I do honestly think that my DSM won't be around that much longer. I constantly told the kid that bought it, that it needed to be tuned to be able to run alot of boost and that I only have it on a daily driver tune and that he should only run max 16-18 psi until its tuned, which is where I had the low/high settings when I gave it to him. But he just asking how do you turn up the boost, whats the max this turbo can take, what 1/4 mile time should it run at full boost. I mean, you should have seen the look on his face when I said, at max boost it can run low 11's or better, depending on the driver. BUT I KEPT EMPHASISING WITH BETTER TUNING!!!! But when he left with the car, he never asked for my dsm link software.... I had to call and tell him he forgot it, and even then, he said, Well just email it to me...... So I dont think it will be around that much longer.

MAN what a sexy car, I feel for you having to sell it. Yep, I think that the population of the US will be going down by atleast 1 but probably 3-4 with a 15 year old driving it but I bet what like 14 grand in cash was pretty nice :naughty:. I'd get an EVO if I were you, I am toying with the idea right now. I know I will never be able to afford it, but man, evos are one of a small few that can rival the sheer beauty of your car. Lol sorry scottsee, I actually gave away all the stock parts with the car..... I just needed to clear the garage. But I actually got 13 grand cash and it looked great........ for the like 3 seconds I held it. I only had it for like 14 months so I still owed the bank like 13 grand on the loan. I got about 2 grand for a Downpayment now on whatever I decide to get. I'm just stuck on what to get now.

And that silver ring that you see was the flash from the camera. Thats all.

Hey Savior, I have q quick question for you. Remember when you were launching in the beginning with the GSX. You broke something, so it wasnt transfering power to the front wheels or something like that. What exactly did you break ?
I am just curious you know. Also, you never dynoed your car right ? But with those mods you had, you beat a M3. Cause I was arguing with my friend over here and that dumbass thinks M3 is the fastest or some crap like that.

I am going to use it for work and some driving around, and buy the GSX and at the end of this month hopefully, if I find one around here. Also I was thinking, what turbo is powerful enough at not too much boost but spools fast. Just woundering thanks.

Well, I forgot what exactly it was that I broke. I can look up the old records and find out what it was though, I'm at my Girls house now so I'll get that for you tomarrow. But with the mods I had in the car, The car would have been able to run low 11's. But I was lazy and never got it tuned or also never raised the boost higher than 18psi. But untuned and at 18 psi, I was able to beat a 03 Cobra with exhaust by about 2 cars. So I would say when I had the car, it was doing mid 12's.

The guy I sold my car to was pretty much an idiot. During the test drive, I kept saying "If it ever gets about 16 psi by any chance get off the gas!!" He just kept saying "Whatever..." You can just tell right away if they know what they are doing or not and plus...who the hell buys a completely moded car? Takes all the fun out of it if you ask me :headshake

M3's are actually very fast. Most of them actually run low 13's and actually aome have dipped into the 12's bone stock. Usually though they run about 13.2 in the quarter mile.

Hes completely built and running a big fuckin t3/t4. Before the t3/t4 he was beating SRTs at the track on the 14b. Hes an amazing driver, but hes hard on shit. We have a car show smack in the middle of the summer, like July 15 and 16 or something like that. Well theres this car club of Vipers that comes up here and they cruise around. Granted those old guys probably arent that great at shifting, he gave one of them a good run for their money on his 14b. I dont know how much of a race it was, off the line or from a roll, or what, but I do know his car is fast.

Yeah dude, a purple 2 door neon. From the outside it looks like a normal neon, but shit its fast. Hes was in a bad mood one day and was going fast and a cop clocked him. He just took off and they wouldnt have gotten him exept his clutch shattered at ~130. They maced and beat him when they caught up to him and started checking the car over. He and the other guys in the car said the cops were shocked when they popped the hood and they said, "Wow, no wonder we couldnt catch you." Crazy kid....

I have a friend that did that to his 99 neon R/T. Fuilly build 420a with a gt35r on there, quaife lsd, the works. only problem is he had a clutchmaster stage 3 6 puckk which is supposed to be the strongest clutch made for neons and it shattered within 2 weeks
