yeah i saw a SRt4 runing at the track last time i was their. Not that impressive really. Low 15's to mid 14's.

Low 15s, couldn't drive. Mid 14s, average, low 14s, decent, high 13s, very good driver. With them cars..it's all in the launch. That's why most of the time they're trying me from a roll. :)

I've always thought the SRT4s were kinda over rated...and ugly. Also, raced a silver GT stang the other day, mid 90s model, with a vanity plate that read "Voight". Guy looked like a total sleaze ball (long dreasy lookin hair, silver chain on the neck...yo dude, its 2005, not 1985). Anyways, I thought I would do better since I took the GT the other night. He took me by about a length and a 1/4, I didnt really launch, I think I woulda done better if I did.

btw gt4 nurburgring pisses me off (especially in the license tests).

Really? The other night, I was about to push an 9 flat, but I braked to much comming out of the final turn, and off tracked, and took forever to re track.

well i mean only in the license tests (the 2nd to last one in IA license) cuz its 10 mins and you have to start all over if you go off once.

If anything they are under rated. Most people don't think Your "sh!t box neon" will even keep up. From a dig they are just your average FWD car. But from a roll you would be suprised what they can do. You are right about them being ugly, the only part that looks good is the inside and the front. From the side and back it looks like a neon with a gaudy wing and tacky duel exhaust.

Edit: Oh, okay. I get it now. My mustang is a 2002..not some cheap 95. Andd I don't think I've ever worn, or owned any sort of silver chain necklaces. I'm stuck in 1967...even though I wasn't born yet. Not 1987.

i know... i know... i have heard them all. I remeber when i raced my friends bmw 330 from a roll... anihilated him with his girl in it. I then to talked crap about how a car much less expensive then his rocked him, and then he said. "yeah its faster, but at the end of the day i still have the girl and the bimmer, and all you have is a neon." That shut me up pretty fast lol.

BTW i don get it, but when ever anyone says something good about the Srt-4, the counter point is allways "its a neon". Is that supposed to take away from the performance aspect of the car? Or is it supposed to make me feel bad about my car? Cause i know its a neon, and i love the car for it.

Owned. And no, I just dont like Neons. I think they are cheaply made and ugly. Of course, I think that almost all American cars made after the 70s, with some exceptions.

imo all the license test were easy (to pass at least) with the exception of the nurburgring test. what cars do you use cassies?
i just did that test over. its pretty easy, i got a 2:02. i guess the best advice is use the red numbers about the gear indicator to know when to slow down, and hold the brake to the apex (while turning a little) and then let off, then gas quickly out of the corner. get ready to countersteer too (the mgf is MR).

The ones they make me use. In game, I only have finished the Sunday cup and the beginers FF cup, I have a turboed (S1) 91 Si.

Nope, and the one person in my house who does have it wont let me borrow it.

no wonder, because i played it alot and most of this stuff is really easy for me. some of the super license tests are easy too. (oh and the fact that i had gt3 explains why i already have a full tuned rx7 and i'm not that far into the game)

u know what... finding a car fast enough to beat the gran tursimo world championship is a real bitch, i have a fully tuned dodge viper gts-r team oreca and its not even close, have a zonda race car and its not fast enough either. im thinkin i might have to just save up to 4.5 million and buy the panoz car.

its not that hard. really (and i'm not bragging) you probably need to practice more.

well comon man i havent been playing that long... im pretty good i just have yet to buy a car or win one that can compete with those ones... i know its not that hard i consistently kill the AI with cars inferior to theirs, but example... my fastest car right now can take a corner on superspeedway at 180, they pull atleast 200 on the same corner, theres not much u can do about that.

i had a rx-7 i think i sold it tho. one time when i was looking through used cars i saw a camaro z28 for under 10k, that might not be a bad starter

the evo is completely different from the lancer, all they do is share the same base chassis.

Yeah but what argument is that lol the imprezza 2.5rs? omg only one of my favorite cars ever lol. Evo is no lancer lol Evo is an Evo. Only reason i get a lil pissy is because people say it to just discredit the car. The only thing similar with a Neon and an srt-4 is the chassy. diff engine, specialy built tranny, diff suspension, and a seksy lil mitsu turbo. Honestly i think they are just jelous of my overwhelming amount of downforce i have. Chix dig big wings.

i read that post in its entirety and now that i have the facts, nobody can convince me that the srt-4 is not a neon. Its basically an upgraded neon. the sentra ser spec v is just an upgraded sentra. not talking shit, just facts.

kinda reminds me of the viper story, but on a smaller scale.

Messed around with a Silverado flairside...he was behind me on the onramp, he nails it to try to cut me off from merging ahead of him...he's coming like a bat out of hell, I nail it, stop his gain, pull in front of him in the right lane with feet to spare, we are both on it and I only gain about 1/2 a car to a car up to 100 mph and then he fell off dramatically, while I keep on honkin all the way to about a buck 20, I was surprised I wasn't able to pull out more on him...it looked almost exactly like slowproccess's truck(obviously not nearly as fast though)...it turned out the guy was one of my classmates...he came up to me later and was all "you were hauling ass!" and I was all "so YOU were the guy in the silverado!"....he said he wasn't able to run with me past 100 because his governer kicks in at like 97 mph or something...fun stuff.

I got beat up by an Audi A6 today. It was saddening.

some guy in a crown Vic thought he could beat me. I was just sitting at the light, i take off normally and then i hear these tires squealing next to me. So i was like hell no, i punched it and but about a bus length on him. A ram 1500 tried the beat me too, he didnt stand a chance either.
