21R, is kept in the UK, but then again I could be wrong on this.

25R or 28R, Last I heard was either of these two GTR,s was on its way to the UK.

I'm not sure #05R will be a UK car - I think Monaco might be more correct once it is completed?

#21R is owned by a German so I'd prefer to consider it a European car but am open to everyone else's ideas?

If it is #25R instead that's wonderful news as I don't think that one has been seen anywhere since late 2006. GTR #28R still appears on the BingoSports website for sale, so I suspect it isn't that one. They do seem to stay on top of their inventory management and website.

In an email inquiry I sent regarding that photo, I was told that the picture was taken "with no wing after we had converted it to road legal cats". To validate the source of that information I can tell you that he is pictured in this photo:

I didn't get anymore info than that on #02R, but can not imagine adding catalytic convertors to a GTR for any other reason than to convert it for road use.

The funny story related to that is the car's current owner emailed me about two weeks ago. He didn't identify himself at first but his note did include a couple of questions, including one about 19R's Presentation livery. It didn't even cross my mind he might be the owner. :uhoh:

In my second reply where I shared the scans of 19R from Auto, Motor & Sport I closed out my note to him by sharing with him the exciting news about the current owner's plans to restore the livery, and the strong possibility that it would participate in next year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Yup... you read that right. I told the owner of the car what he was doing with it and suggested that he should definitely try to attend the FOS so he could see it. :rofl: :loser: :rofl:

The first post is stiill very much a work in progress. I took a break this afternoon to go spin some miles on my bicycle. As stated above I was just including the stuff I already had hosted first and I am not quite finished sifting through that yet either.

The images included so far of #025 are the two 'best' photos I have. There's one more that is decent but a former employee of Lanzante Motorsports is in the driver's seat and it doesn't show much with poor lighting and a dark interior. There were two other images I was going to add in; I just haven't gotten to that point yet. If you think you have some stuff we have not seen of this car that would be wonderful!

I do know more, but am not at liberty to say much. The owner wishes to remain private and has been very kind through emails so far.

I suspect #043 will not remain hidden forever like it was in Japan though. :)

I think #068 may be in Mexico, but heard conflicting info through a credible source that the car may have been purchased for a friend of the name we know, and that it stayed in California perhaps.

I can share here. The car has had two owner's - Mr Sayama in Japan, and now it's new UK owner. The car was purchased just a few months ago and went direct from Japan to the UK.

The new owner of #043 appears to very much repect and appreciate the unique history of his F1 road car. I think it is very fair to say we won't be seeing any dramatic changes made to that one for as long as it is in his care. :)

60,000 - 70,000 miles would not be a surprise on #020 - maybe more.

One interesting story I heard in Monterey is that the new owner of #046 has been driving it so much that he actually became the first owner ever to exceed the mileage interval for a service before he'd reached the time interval that McLaren recommends. :thumbsup:

It could - it's from the first Gumball 3000 rally when David and a friend took the LM and won. :cool:

#046 will be at this years Goodwood Revival, which is ironically the only place I've seen it, as it drove past the track and in to the main car park many moons ago when JB owned it :)

Slowly but surely filling in gaps with photos in the first post. I even added two more not-so-great ones of #025.

There shouldn't be anything new I don't think, but I have tried to choose some of what I felt were the best photos for each car from various angles so give them a peek. :)

This photo isn't actually "new" - it was taken on 10/25/2007 - but I doubt anyone here has seen it because I would imagine they'd have done the same thing I am doing here, which is share it! :naughty:

The R plate on the car now is actually the plate the car wore even before coming to the USA more than a decade ago.

Checked some documentation I have and it turns out they were legit and assigned to the car via records found on the DVLA website back then.
