Hello Modelfriends,
Some time ago I built the prototype in Silverstone 1 / 20, perhaps still remember which.

Now that the P34 is my declared favorite model, it is almost a must for me to realize this extraordinary Tyrrell also in 1 / 12.
I have decided to build a prototype parallel to the 77 P34. I am surprised that in this scale can be more easily accomplished than those enclosed in 1 / 20 * gg *.
In the conversion I am again a little on 1/20er model oriented as to original recordings of Tyrrell's.
I used mainly plastic sheet panels.

We continue with the expensive part of the airbox
First, I built a mold of a 0.75 mm plastic sheet plate.
Then the mold was filled with a silicone compound, After some time, I could remove the silicone mold.
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/6261316464386634.jpg
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3366666665653730.jpg
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3064653534393266.jpg

For my next steps I need my original form of the Airbox split in the middle, of this I'm already at the beginning of the part so designed that I can take it apart every time.
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/6164376135333764.jpg

The first part of my low-drag action started like this, first, 2 double-sided tape strips applied to a surface.
At the lower part of my form still has a 3mm extension attached to the resin subsequently decided to double-sided tape strips by additional fixing.
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3961333766336631.jpg

The next steps then had to go quickly.
First, the mold was filled with resin.
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3137306438623362.jpg
The result was a 0.75 mm thick resin plate.
However, before they harden completely I take from the silicone mold and put it liberally over my half airbox,
, using small plastic card, the thin viscous resin plate to the edges of the air box down on the double-sided tape
,remains in the form received without the resin plate of the airbox can take off again.
http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3437353261333863.jpg

After 20 minutes I could cut out the part with a knife around the edges.

And that's the result:

http://foto.arcor-online.net/palb/alben/35/5374835/3738363636356164.jpg

Only the second half as deep drawing and then, the two parts are connected.
Resin is adhered to the top with resin, it connects seamlessly and you get a part as in my case that looks as if it were of a piece.

The Silverstone prototype is now finished, but not as detailed as the '77 Monaco version but the focus in this version is drawn to the airbox and the "nose".
The airbox was made in my Resin thermoforming method, the wall thickness is about 0.75 mm and the box is completely hollow as the original.
The yellow stripe and the angular lines of 3 was applied with an airbrush.

Great job, but what impressed me more was the soft resin sheet modeling.... very inspiring and at last the result on the scoop is impressive.
