miracles DO happen ...

Yea i have the worst luck with my car ... so shut up i know already ...

Im on my way to meet my friends at the theater to watch bulletproof monk ... id been hearing this whiring noise ... i found out what it was today ... my alternator belt wasnt on right. It decieded that tonight was gonna be the night to come off. So on the junction from 92 west to 101 south ... it either snapped or just came off ... either way ... i called up greg and asked how S.O.L. i was ... it didnt sound good ... I called up my buddy who bitches about how little i know about cars and he said i couldnt get it started again ... So the buddy i met up with was like when the movie is over we'll try to jump yer car ... so ... after the movie ...

he follows me to my car which was like two rows over from his and my other buddy follows me and hes like what are you doing? as i jump in to try and start it. It cranks and runs ... we look at each other and he just runs for my buddy who is pulling up to get into position to jump ... i scream FOLLOW ME !!! ... so im driving in the slow lane so i dont over use the battery ... he follows me home ... ALL the way home ... I dont know the milage but it basicly went their and back so its gotta be like 25-30 miles with no alternator belt ... Yea ... im excited ... im hoping that when i find some shop open tomarrow so i can get it fixed ... and that it will start and make it to that shop ... hehehe ... see you next tragedy ...

yeah a car doesnt use much power so u can run it for pretty long without an alternator cause the engine doesnt require lots of power

my buddy told me it shouldnt run long at all ... that the battery doesnt hold much of a charge ... another friend said that i should get about 15 miles before i would need a jump to charge it up a bit more ...

guess they were both wrong ... probly helps that i dont have anything by my headlights and interior lights to power ... no clock, no stereo, nothing ...

alternators suck. I've killed 2 this year because of my Amp. And they are a bitch to change. I wish civic alternators were on the top/ front of the engine like a normal car.
