should i get a gsr or prelude?

i have about 15k to spend on a car and i was wondering what you thought was better: a 94- gsr or a 97-01 prelude

i plan on spending about 10k on the car and then put a jackson racing supercharger on with a couple other things.

thanks

before I saw your thread, just going off of the title, I planned on coming in here and saying GSR cuz I used to have a 3rd gen teg(hence my name) and I like those cars so much, and I'm guessing the GSR could only be more fun. but now I say prelude. I cant tell you why cuz ive never driven, ridden or even sat in one. but the style of the car I am in love with. I think it is soooo nice.

Get a 96-97 LT1 Camaro Z28/SS... pick up a good one for about 8-9k and spend whats left on goodies...

Wait I guess that wasnt a choice. Hmmm well do the 97-01 Preludes come with the 4-wheel Steering? I think thats a pretty cool but useless option. Saw one the other day driving infront of me got to see the 4WS in action thought it was pretty trippy.

So I guess my vote is Prelude if you want to just drive in style.. but I guess if you're interested in 'racing' than go for the lighter platform.

But then again dont see too many fast Preludes... More power to ya if you can get one to run a decent time.

dude prelude or GSR ?

15k?

u sure you don't want a 300ZX ?
or a Supra?
or a 3000GT VR4 ?
or even an RX7?

thats alot of money to spend on a GSR or Prelude and i believe that RWD's are the best but thats me and i'm just wondering why those two and not any of these 4?

No way in hell he is getting a turbo supra for 15k. He can get the 1st gen 3000gt or a rx7 or 300zx though. Insurance is gonna be higher with any of those three though and only the 3000GT has a back seat(which is smaller than the ludes and the GSR's). Given the choice between the two, I'd get a 94 or 95 GSR(cheaper and OBD1) and mod it. Phuck the JRSC and go turbo though.

if he gets a rx-7, 300zx, or 3000gt, there's gonna be more miles on it. maybe he wants a newer car. i thought the 300zx made a 2+2 version with a backseat? i could be wrong though...

of your two choices, i would take the lude. you get more HP and TQ, sure, it's bigger/heavier but you get more car for the same price!!! hahaha. i like the style of preludes more, they look sleeker imo. there's this prelude by where i live, silver, carbon fiber hood, lowered, 17" rims, sideskirts. sure, it could be all show and no go but DAMN it looks good. *droooool* so cleeeean.

anyways, yeah, prelude all the way.

Hmmm GSR or Prelude twhat wonderful choices in cars lets see either way you go with those two choices your gonna end up with the same damn cars that most ricers have on the road so your not gonna be unique in any way. Then most likely your gonna want to put on some mods/goodies to be different and add your little rims and Naaaaaaawwwwwwwwwsssss except you still end up like everyone else (ricers) on the road. I suggest you take up the guys suggestion on the late late classic model Camaro or at least #rd or 2nd gen RX-7. At least I dont see that rotary on the raod as much as those other two top National Rice Mobiles. Be a little original and get a classic or something not usually seen on the road.
