need wiring info for clarion system in p10

So, I bought an amp, and I want to replace the factory clarion amps. Does anyone know which color wires are for what, so I don't have to spend hours trying to figure it all out?? My car is a 94 g20 with the clarion system and separates.

Also, did they make a bose system the same year? I have been looking online for a wiring harness adapter for those factory amps, but can only find it for the bose system...

Thanks,

Jeremy

i wouldnt bother using the factory amp wires, they seem to be too thin. your better off running new wires to each speaker and from the radio to the amp. i tried to use the amp wires when replacing my bose amp and i got extreme engine noise and the guys at my electronic store just said to run new wires and totally get rid of the factory system, amps, speakers, wires...etc hope this helps

but if you still want to use it and try for your self simply look and the wire that is connected to each speaker and look for it on the harness and just mark them with a piece of tape

Yeah, you're right about them being thin. The other good/bad news is that autotoys.com carries an adapter for bypassing the factory amps in our cars. The bad news is that it's only for the bose system, and they apparently don't make one for the clarion system. Oh, well. Looks like I'm going to be chasing wires for a few hours to put my amp in. Nothing I haven't done before...

For the Clarion system you use a stadard Nissan Adapter you can get at any good car stereo place I don't remember the years it listed on the package but it was basicly all nissan 97 and older
