www.bulldogsecurity.com should give you all the info you need.

(I'll let you know next week if they're right about everything...)

Cheers,
L.

Three months ago I had a Code Alarm 530 remote starter installed in a 1997 Jimmy. The installer charged me $25 more since there is a special factory anti thieft system installed which he had to work arround. I watched as he installed the system and it took him three solid hours to install it. There are a whole bunch of wires coming from the unit. He had to almost totally remove the dash to do it. The installer was bent up like a pretzel looking for wires for a very long time.
I was glad it was him and not me.
My recomendation is to have a Pro who is framiliar with all the issues invloved install your unit and be sure he soliders the connections and then uses heat reactive shrink tape to protect them. I watched as he soliderd the connections and then used a blow dryer to add heat to the tape to shrink it perfectly arround the connections.
The problem is that a lot of people and installers do not solider the connections and then use the heat reactive shrink tape on every single connection. Then months or years down the road a plain twist and tape type connection will corrode and go bad and it will cost you big bucks for someone to find the problem in the gangle of wires under your dash.

I was charged $130 for the installation which I thought was a lot of money unitll I watched what he had to go through.

It works perfectly and I love it. No more chipping Ice in the winter. Even in the summer it is a smart idea. We all know it is not a real good idea to start a car and then immediatly take off but we all do it. Not with remote start.
