Post 92 Prelude SR turn signal problem

hi all, this is my first post and everything, blah blah blah.

anyways, this isn't my car, it's my friend's, and here's the problem:

he got it used awhile ago, and it had been in a front end accident before that which he knew about before he bought the car. However, the left turn signal hyperblinks. Not the right turn signal, and not the hazards, just the left. Does it when headlights are on or off. I'm pretty sure it's not the bulbs as I've tried replacing them all and no diff. All the other lights on the car work fine. Any idea what this could be? Thanks
