1969 corvette convertible

i havnt built models in a while so im doing this just to freshen up, and make sure i have all the supplies i need
kit is revells 68 convertible, but i will be converting it to a 69 (minor changes such as different reverse lights, door locks, interior pieces, etc.

cut outs for exhaust tips

kit pieces

body

kit

emblem and convertible top latches removed

l88 hood opened up

reverse lights filled in. in 68 they were on the bumper, 69 they were in the tail light

body primered

distributer plugs installed

reverse lights before primer

convertible top glass installed

top fitment check

engine about half done


alternator cut away from fan belt assembaly

little more engine work done, custom alternator bracket installed

rims and tires

detail set

bumper blackwashed

WOW I have built this model before and I had a few fitment issues after putting on the fenderwells other than that its a great kit keep it up

tires are from the kit, but i had the red stripes from another model that i didnt use them on.

i think it would be alot easier to do a little bit of filling to this kit, then to cut a whole roof and what not off of the 69 hardtop kit
