A few pics of my s2k

I felt like painting this one red/white/blue because of the recent issues. What do you guys think of the scheme so far? Too bad I'm going to have to strip it and repaint it because I should have used white primer instead of gray

I'm also thinking of changing the scheme a little bit the next time around

I also added a little bit of front lip with putty

I thought this picture came out interesting. The paint is red, not orange, but the orange came out because of an accidental flash from my camera:

i painted the hood and trunk white for the stars, and left the sides with gray primer. so on the sides, the red doesn't show as bright. it's quite a bit duller and darker. the pictures don't show it that well, i guess.

i'm thinking of redoing it and painting most of the trunk and hood blue with white stars, while most of the rest of the car will be red...since the American flag has the white stars on the blue...

Looks nice, maybe if you could make a fading effect from the red to white it would look nicer IMO (e.g. red to pink then to white)

Paint job looks real nice. It will be a shame to have to strip it

BTW, the seats don't look right in gloss, do you have any dull coat to try and tone down the gloss?

Paint the white back end blue, and say it's the Tamiya S2000.

Haha...I hadn't thought of that. Although I did think about entering this into Tamiya Con. I won't make it in time though. Plus, I didn't paint the undercarriage.

Hey not bad, patriotic S2K.

I say you should do a patriotic Hemi!
I say Patriotic Cuda? Maybe I'll try it.
