Brights Por

Ok you know when you pull the lever for your brights to flash when your regular head light are not on the flash. well the other day i was fashing my bright to my friend and they didnt work. they work when the headlight are on ut not when they are off. has anyone had this prob and how you fixed it. i already looked all the fuses

you prolly have a loose contact in the steering column, cuz they should illuinate regardless if th4e other lights are on or not.

I had this problem too...I replaced my stalk with one from a junkyard and that fixed it. the internals are all plastic and metal tabs and shit, so usually something inside has broken..The guy charged me like $5 and it took 15-20 minutes or so to disassemble the steering column to get it off. I have had issues with both stalks on my 4G - my wiper stalk "mist" function broke, and the stalk didn't come back up (spring fell out or something ), so I replaced it too. That seems like the easiest solution.
