PM6 in a DX

When I bought my car a PM6 ECU was in the back seat. I figured "What the hell" and plugged it in. The car did run and even drove with it, but it was running vary bad. Is there any reason other than MPFI on the Si that causes it to run bad?

Just Wondering.
