Do or do not ?
Ok guys, IT IS OFFICIAL I am gettin a B16a1 with the S1 or YS1 transmission. I was gonna get LSD but i desided against it since I don't race. and could not find a B18a with a good transmission.
So I will be ordering my engine shortly, but am wondering if I sould get a Lightend Flywheel, I'm not talking super light 8-9lbs but the street ACT 12.9 lbs(i think) flywheel. Since i am putting in a Centerforce stage 2 I figure I might as well do it all at once. I heard that lightend flywheels and crank pulleys can cause damage to engines over time... is this true... sounds like BS to me. Also I posted this once I will try it again, Will a 92-93 GSR header Fit the B16a1 ? (Now i know that the B17 is a stroked B16 so to me i figure it should) anyone confirm or denie this ? the reason I ask is I don't wanna pay 700$ for a B16a1 JDM/apexi/5zigen header that's gonna get replaced next year with a Turbo manifold. any thoughts ?
