1999 malibu will not start...running not less than 20mins before

hi, ny roomates malibu will not start, it was running not less than 20mins ago....battery is fine. all power related equipment works...i.e. power windows, radio....... but it will not turn over when trying to start...just get on click and that's it. any sugestions.....thinking it's the fuel pump or starter

Have the battery tested. Just because power options work does not mean its good.

If you are getting clicking from the starter area, replace the starter. To get it going, tap the starter with a hammer. If it starts, replace it.

We have a problem with our antitheft device kicking in for no reason at all, and it sounds like what you are experiencing. Is the anitheft light flashing when you are trying to crank it? There is a way to reset this, but it takes 30 minutes each time...it's a real pain.

I had the same thing with my '97 Malibu. All you have to do it wait...seemed to only happen when the initial drive was longer than an hour though.
