Testarossa Body Kit

Can anyone tell me how these Testarossa kits attach to the original body work and moreover how well they hold up over time? I figure I need two years before they start showing cracks between metal and fibreglass. Is that realisitc?

you're talking about the old school truxarossa kits?

if you do quality work to bond the glass to the metal, you'll have no problems. there's tons of people with glass on metal that have been that way for years that don't have any issues...

Cool

I have done the S-10 Truxarossa kit and it stayed together for about seven years. I can't say after that. I haven't seen the truck since 2001. I drove it daily and never had a problem.
I now have a JMX Phantom on the truck I drive a few times a week. Talk about old school cool. I even have the rag top and stalker bumper with the KC Daylighters mounted.
My phantom has a couple small pressure cracks but it is due to the motor and a heavy loud pedal. The truck has a built 355 and 4.56 gears in the ford rearend.
How do I post pictures. I can post pics of both trucks.
The only thing I will warn you about is installation.
If you are even thinking about doing one of these kits you should think about your body work skills. They better be sharp or it won't come out right. Out of the four JMX Phantom kits that Ratical Sold, three came back. The one they had as a model was later stripped back off and rebodied. I have the only Phantom in the world, and there is a reason for that. This thing took about two years to get right. No kidding. I did the Truxarossa in about two weeks, with no major grief.
