I need some help u guys, does anyone know whut color that S2000 to the far left is? It looks like goldish brown, im not sure, I think it should be a Tamiya color, but im not sure, cuz i found this picture on HLJ, under the S2000 mOdel kit, if u know please answer Thanx.

Yeah it could be, But i think thet sprayed it with cans, and not with Acrylics, but im not sure, but it could be, im probably goin to email Tamiya and ask them, but if anyone knows whut color that is for sure, i would like to know, im thinking it could be Tamiya TS-21 Gold.

I'd go with what Daggerlee said! The tamiya silverstone metallic! But not sure may want to look on tamiya website or ask your hobby store.

It is likely that the car is painted with a color to mimic one of the factory colors the S2000 comes in, you may want to check out Honda's website to see if there is this color shown as one of the options, or at least a color that is close to this.
Then you would at least have a good starting reference. BTW, why wouldn't it be sprayed with acryllics? Besides the fact that Tamiya do make Enamel paints too, I have some Tamiya kits that call out for a combination of Acryllic/Enamel colors to be used to achieve a specific body color. It is possible that the paint mix Dan has given you there is correct, but Tamiya airbrushed the model with their enamel paints as opposed to using their acryllics. Ray

I just checked on Honda.com and i found the color of the S2000 u guys were right! it was SilverStone Metallic, does anyone know where i can get automotive paint? And do they have them in spray cans? or just bottles. Thanx for the help.

I also need some help gettting some Le Mans Sunset automotive paint from the Nissan 350Z, its like a orange color, but i dont know where to get it? Would i have to go to the Nissan Dealer and order it from them or whut? Cuz i have no idea where to get automotive paint. Help would be appreciated. Thanx

A lot of people use automotive paint on their models and it does come out well, it should obviously be polished and everything like any other paint to get a high gloss finish.
Something to remember about Auto paint is that you will HAVE to completely primer the body to protect the plastic. Do a forum search on automotive lacquers and I am sure you will get many results and possible tips on how to use them on models.

Thanx, for the help, im going to use some Tamiya Primer, with some automotive paint, how long would i have to let the Primer dry or sit until i should spray the automotive paint on? Thanx
