Cool Installed my DC Sports 4-1 ceramic coated header

Yeh, so my tax return this year was for $350....so i bought a brand new dc sports 4-1 off of ebay for $275. Yesterday my friends and i installed it. It was a little more of a bitch than we were expecting...but not bad. Since it's a one piece header, and comes out further than the stock exhaust manifold, the front crossmember had to be dropped to fit the header on. We then realized that the crossmember wouldn't fit back on because it was hitting a bottom portion of the header. So, we BFH'd the fuck out of the bitch, and got it all back together. I have a mugen chipped ecu, and i thought i remember hearing that it disabled the secondary O2 sensor (among others), but i wasn't certain. We lengthened the primary o2 sensor wire to reach the new bunch location near the collector, and soldered and heat shrink wrapped the connections. Then we just left the 2nd O2 connector unplugged and tucked up in the engine bay. The car started up fine and ran all yesterday (haven't driven it today) w/ no check engine light (so i must've been right about it disabling the 2nd o2). The thing is even louder now, and throttle response (very noticeably when cruising on the highway in 5th) has been greatly improved. The butt dyno says that it's a little faster. Now i just gotta race this 95 tsi fwd 5 speed that i lost to by half a car, and see how i do now. Sorry for the long rant, just thought i'd share this info

Cool...nice job on the install Banging out the crossmember has always discouraged me from getting a 4-1 header. I was thinking of investing in the jimfab crossmember and then going with the 4-1 so I wouldn't have to beat up the stock one.
