All X-TYPE owners please read

I wanted you guys to be the first to be invited to the new CDW27.ORG forums. There is a specific section within the forums for the X-TYPE. Right now there is only one section but, please keep in mind that the forums technically haven't been released. Infact the main site isn't even published yet. I will definately add many sections for you.

To kind of give you an idea, the CDW27.ORG site revolves around all forms of CDW27 cars. This includes Cougars, Contours, Mystiques, Mondeos, and variants of the CDW27 platform (X-TYPE). Although Ford only admits to sharing 20% of the X-Type with the Ford Contour, what they mean is that they had higher quality parts made from the exact spec for the X-Type. I would better guess to more of a 40 - 50% sharing, but this is just one of the reasons why we needs you guys on our forums. CDW27.ORG is being designed to bring everyone together. In the Cougar and Contour specific sites there are constant questions about your cars. WE NEED YOUR KNOWLEDGE! All of us CDW27 cars share the duratec and its ups and downs.(Except for the Zetec owners). This might be a very fortunate thing for you, since we have members that have torn down the engine many of times and know it inside and out.

Once again I want to tell you that the Cougar and Contour communities have not been informed of the release of the site right now, so do not expect to get a lot of response from them as of right now. Signing up is free and always will be.

I invite you to be the first to use the forum. I will be adding a section for forum issues in which you can report problems.

You will find that the forum is quite advanced and supports a lot of feature that you can not get here.

All feedback is appreciated!

Regards,

Chris
