Cool Porsche turbo (964) - no rear wing

Hi,

a quick model built between others:

Fujimis Porsche 911 turbo 1991 (964)

Rear wing was cut away

Colour is white covered with mica

Wheels are not so big, some 17" (?) from Fujimi, in the rear a ring was added.

Re: Porsche turbo (964) - no rear wing

Hi Micha,

that turned out nicely! I like the color and that you built it w/o the rear wing.
The line between the front bumper and the fender is a tad sloppy, but that might only be the pic. You could add license plates for more realism?

Great quicky!

Paint looks terrific and your idea doing this one without the wing is just great! This is actually the look of the 964 I like the most. I never thought about the mica-white - makes me try that.

Yeah I like how it looks without the wing, looks more retro, nice color and clean built, as always.

that looks really good! I'm digging the pearl white paint. I always like seeing an air cooled 911 with no spoiler..I like the lines of the car..

Hi Alex,

this kit is a curbside model, no engine (unfortunatelly)

I mostly like it, though the wide body begs for a wing.

The special edition from Porsche 911 "30 years 911" also had wide rear fenders and a small wing on most of the 911 built cars

Re: Porsche turbo (964) - no rear wing

I have a few of these Fujimi 964s, one of my favorite quick building kits. Never seen one with out the wing...certainly shows off the natural lines of the classic 911 shape. I rather like it!
