Guys, would you hit a girl?
For me, it would take alot of anger to hit a girl (more than I've felt in my entire life probably), and when I say girl, I mean a everyday girl, not big muscle-men-women with a mullet.
I am sure, if some girl was wailing on me, beating me with a bat, I might throw a punch or so, just to get her to stop. But other than that, never. |

In this day and age of equality I guess you should be able to hit a girl but it would have to be for a very good reason.
Before we were married my wife , then girlfriend, slapped my face and I slapped her right back, but other than that there has been no other violence with her in the last 24 years

As a general rule I dont like Voilence any where but on TV and in Movies.
But if I have to im quite capable of hitting someone, and if im in circumstances where I have no choice but to hit back, then im not going to be worried if its a girl or a guy.

I would never hit a girl. But I would get my female friend to kick her ass if a girl was to lay a hand on me.

I don't consider one of those little slaps to be violence - they are merely gestures.
I do consider a slap that carries weight to be violent, and an unacceptable way of demonstrating feelings. I will never hit a woman with intention to hurt, but like Trigger situation - I get hit (one of those little bitch slaps), and I'm going to return the favor  .

I guess Im a bastard I did hit a girl once!
I was in a fight in S.F. on 4th of July some punk ass gangsters were throwing firecrakers at passing cars into the windows, this day I let my X drive my car I was in the rear seat just hanging when one of these punks threw a fire craker at her I grabed the fire craker as it was coming in, threw it back at them jumped out & chased them down the street as now a crowed gathered as I reach the 5 punks that were doing this. They & there girls confronted me, I was pumped there was no way bringing me down from my adrenalin high so I jumped in started whaling on the guys I was down to the last one when I got kicked from behind I turned around & saw this beefy chick by know one of my friends in the car had caught up started taking on the last guy. So I said hell with it bring it on, boy this chick was tuff she fought dirty so then I stooped to her level & droped kicked her ass & knocked out some teeth. By the time the cops got there we were done with them & witnesses that saw the hole thing told the cops what had been happening the whole night, I got a warning from the cops for beating the crap out of them. I ended up going to the hospital, I guess after being so pumped I never noticed I had been stabed, luckly it missed all vital areas & only had hit a muscle/fat. (love handle)

In self-defense, I would be in favor of a few take-down maneuvers before I actually threw a punch/kick.
I rarely think to hit when I'm angry anyway. I'm more of a grab-and-shake kinda guy. And maybe some shoving. Jeez, I feel like a neanderthal after saying that.

Yeah i gotta admit i have before but it wasn't out of anger or anything we were just play fighting
but just like chris I wouldn't hit a girl unless it was in self defense and that was my last option . I love girls!!

I'd hit a girl
 Me and my 5'9", 145 have scared the crap out of several 6' guys. *lol* It takes a lot to get me that pissed off, but if you succeed, then you had best run fast and far.  I will either scream until your eardrums bleed or deliver a hit you'll never forget. So far, I've only gotten as far as screaming...
