4.3l V6

ok i have a 93 S-10 its in really good shape except the 2.8L is TOAST but the tranny is good and soo is the rest of the car now i have heard that with a little work a 4.3L v6 will bolt right up with a mount kit but what about the tranny the S-10 is a 5spd so what all do i need i found a wrecking yard that has an engine for $500 out of a 91 blazer 4x4 will that motor mount up with a mount kit?? its TBI so i wont have to upgrade to multi port will everything work??

Crxce- theoretically if u laid a starter on a table and hooked up the wires would it run???

the bellhousings on the 2.8 trannies are different than the 4.3's. you'll need another tranny also...
