Smile My First 4 models (40 pics!!!)

I finally polished up my photographing skills. So here are my models.

Firstly the Tamiya Honda S2K, my first model ever. Started it when I joined the board. It really sucks, didn't have many colors and polished right thru the paint to the primer. The only model I have airburshed. rest are spraypainted with Duplicolor paints and clear.

Second model: Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2 I did after lots of reading and learning here.

Got this one at an IPMS meeting, got it from HRmodelers friend. Although this '65 Pontiac GTO was from AMT it is kinda my best build interior and unforgetable; it had an engine. Overall nice model with some fitting problems.

Latest model I have completed was this nice Aoshima Mazda FD3S RX-7 Veilside combat II. Great kit, almost no fitting problems, only skirtsd that were a bit a pain in the bum. First model where I tried to apply all the decals.

Sorry for all these pics, but I'm kinda proud of my nice photographic skills (finally none blurry.)

I could still polish it, but then all my improvements won't appear that good as it would do now.
And the biggest problem with the 911 was thast i sprayed from to far away, thus the paint dried partial in the air. Some places I sprayed to much and there it is nice and shiny (and I thought that was a bad thing..) the last 2 have clear on it, but waited not long enough for the paint to dry, that's why there are white lines on it. The RX7 has less of those but it has some paint bubbles near the sideskirts. I glued them on and then sprayed it, only the paint didn't reach all the places so it has streched on to the gap of the skirts. When I go over it with my nail it will crack HUGELY. But I learn from my mistakes, and it wont happen again.
Next Project is a Ford Talladega which will be red with a black bonnet//hood and without front windshield or with a cracked one.. .

Looks like you're improving. The RX7 is great! I love Veilside, wish they'll model the Veilside Civic, looks like I'll have to scratch build that kit.

It looks like to me that you've misted on the clear a bit. Next time try giving it another heavier coat of clear. Or try it on a scrap piece of sheet styrene instead.

Keep up the great work.
