Talking My FIRST MODEL *PICS*

This is the first model I made about a month ago - before I knew about this site, about polishing, primer, or masking tabe - it's obvious from the pics. It's a Tamiya kit, as you have probably guessed.

Let me know what you think .

I discovered this site this morning and decided to model once more - screw the savings for my tuition . I've already ordered over $80 worth of stuff (about $20 for shipping from 4 different sites) - Tamiya Nissan 350Z, rims, Scale Auto Style N kit, and Studio 27 etching upgrade (I have no idea what it is). I'll put up a thread with my progress as soon as I get all the stuff.

Well, it looks really good for a first car! You must be liying! The only thing I see wrong is the camber angle on the front left side of the car. On my first model, I paint went no where near it.. assembled with elmers glue and scotch tape!

You just started out with the holy grail of 1:25 auto kits. And it turned out real nice. Now you have no where to go Except improving your skills and customizing.

Re: My FIRST MODEL *PICS*

That's an impressive start.
Good job!
I've been building off and on for 20 years and the Enzo kit is still a bit intimidating for me.
The underside of the rear deck could use a coat of black.
Other than that it looks great.

Looks really good for a first car.

Keep us posted on the Skyline, I have that same Nismo body kit, but don't have a Skyline yet, so just tell me how the build is.

It's a 350Z, not a Skyline...but I will post my progress.

Thanks for all the feedback.
