CLK DTM Wheel Paint to use ?
Hi guys,
i need your help, as i am most a rally fan than a dtm one, i need advice about wheels color to use on my clk dtm wheels. Some of you use tamiya TS17 , some Humbrol 11, and some Alclad II Chrome..what's the real one ? and what is the best choice ? Cheers

Rinus and me used Alclad II but without puting gloss black color as primer so we didn't get perfect chrome color, but we wanted that.

never used alcladII yet but i'm using tamya and i'm having a good job...so..

When this was built in Tamiya Model Magazine, the modeler used Alcad and it looked suberb!

I used Alclad II chrome by using gloss black enamel as primer on my D2...

I'd ‘a thunk that Alclad II chrome would be a bit too shiny. Maybe Polished Aluminium instead?

many thanks for all reply and advice. Like phil, i think AlcladII chrome is too shiny, and i was thinking of Polished Aluminium instead. But i will try zeljko solution on a spare part to see what it looks like. cheers
