What did he think of the CLK DTM? I just bought the Original-Tiele version.

Nice work with them. I know how much a PIA the decals on the CLK DTM can be but it's worth the time it takes to do them.

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words

The mirrors are painted on the DTM with tamiya acrylic, but on the GTR it is tamiya spray chrome yellow.

if you do a few coats on a smooth surface the acrylic can give a great finish.

- Mitch and Rob

I found the CLK DTM to be great - decals are time consuming but worth it in the end.
It would have been nice to have opening doors like they did with the astra's, but oh well

Re: Completed: CLK GTR and CLK DTM Team D2

Great builds, guys! Really looks smoooth...

I have build the "Original Teile" version of both and still have to build the D2 DTM and the clear Sportswear version of the GTR. Talk about nightmarish decals!
