yesterday,,, sniff sniff , i'm going to need 6 mo. rehab, i let my sister-in-law drive my X in 4wheel drive. I'm the only one who gets to cherish that now it's been tarnished, luckily no animals or people were injured in this event.

no camera :(
i go wheeling about once/twice a week but i have no camera. anyone willing to donate a digital camera will be welcome, consider it a donation to the forum and a benefit to everyone.
with my schedule i have yet to make it to any sccx meets though  .last week a boulder did a pretty good job on the underside of my front bumper, not really noticable but quite ugly if you crawl underneath. stupid fascia...

okay...here's one for ya
According to MA Law here
which I just learned of)http://www.state.ma.us/legis/laws/mgl/90-7P.htm I am only allowed 2" of lift up/down. Well I have a total of 5" of lift and 33's. I am pretty much screwed for state inspection sticker etc. The only good thing is that my tires don't stick out of the wheel well. Hoping the local law enforcement goes easy on me.....this state sucks plain and simple.

Buy a set of really small tires, drop the torsion bars and remove the shackles if you have any extended ones.
Should take you a day to undo, inspect, and redo everything to get your truck back on the road. Oh, and put some sandbags in the rear.

i live in california, are there any cali-residents that know if these laws/restrictions exist here?
i doubt it because i see LOTS of lifted trucks on the freeways, but just curious. even if i do find out it's illegal, i personally have no problem with breaking that rule.

Schlud,
Don't have extended shackles, got the SLR spring pack.... I might try borrowing some stock tires, adjusting the torsion bars, and adding weight to the rear if it comes to that. This weekend I am going to go to a few inspection stations and just see what happens. Maybe one dude will be into 4x4's and give me a sticker.....Wish me luck. Alay510, Try searching online for the lift laws....quick and dirty method. If no luck just call the RMV.

Nice looking truck. I'm surprised you tug from the ARB hi-lift points though. Have they bent on you, or do you spread the pull between the two? I still like to play it safe and use the frame hooks.
