Progress Thread: Ford Focus WRC '01

I have been working on this kit for a while now, and it seems to have been going fairly well, I am nearly done with the interior, although there is a lot of detail I still want to add to the roll cage, and I can only complete the harnesses once the roll cage is complete and glued in place.
I added C/F decal to near everywhere I could, and did a little plumbing and wiring in areas where it would be visible in the real car, and that I could see required it from the reference photos Alex was kind enough to supply me. Thanks Alex

The dash, I haven't gotten quite as obsessed as Phil yet or should I say as brave as Phil, when it comes to detailing all the switches and dials, I just C/F'ed it and painted the Tamiya molded in ones

A couple of the interior with the roll cage in place, I am far from done with the roll cage though, so please forgive the unfinished look. For the rally guys amongst you, you will notice I made a small correction to the roll cage which Tamiya conveniently over-looked when re-packing the 1999 kit with 2001 decals

That's all I have for now, I will update if ever there is an update between now and the completed model.....
Hope you like
Ray

Very Nice Ray, as usual. Guess these could be good referrence pics for the Interior I was looking for. BTW how or where did you get the correct width of material for the harnesses.

Ray, looking good! Dang, carbon fiber crazy! Headphones look awesome, did you build them, buy them, or did they come with the kit?

The Headphones come w/the kit. The wires don't. They are scratch built.

Thumbs up

Hmmm... Carbon Fibre.

Nice details everywhere, the handbrake, radio, stone guards behind the rear disks. Always good to see a Carlos car too!

Phil - obsessed and brave
