Check out www.sharkracing.com they specialized in Hyundai and Kia. There must be a lot of trick Kias in Korea, and it looks like from what I saw at Sharkracing, that there is a lot of them in Germany, since the German aero package company ATH makes spoilers and body kits for them.
My plans on my 2002 Spectra GS is to put on some nice 16s and high end tires, soon to follow with side checkered flag cut vinyl decals from www.awesomedecal.com. Just do the basic stuff on K&N filter, Bosch Plus 4 plugs, High flow Cat, sport exhaust, maybe some Eibach springs. Cmotif <><

Melt, I just talked with my mechanic about your comment on 16 inch wheels. He is a former GTI owner, and now has a new 2002 Jetta. He did a lot of car shows, and had some really trick wheels on his GTI.
Anyway, true, 16s would lose a little torque off the line, but if the steel 14s were replaced with lightweight 16s, it wouldn't really make that much difference. Steel wheels are the heaviest. The car would handle better with 16s, and would look better. The car has 108 ft/lb of torque, and there are a lot of cars out there with less, sporting 16s. It would also make sense that a lower profile tire would weigh less than a higher profile tire. When I am looking for wheels, I will be looking at them for weight and not for bling bling. I'm an RC racer, so I know that grams count. Cmotif <><

Actually, cheap alloys are the heaviest... Steelies aren't actually that heavy. In fact, there are many lightweight steel wheels made for drag racing...
So don't hate on the steelies (don't remember who sai "Don't hate on my steelies!")

That is true. Plus steel wheels are more easily repaired. Weight was going to be my biggest concern. I don't want to buy wheels that way more. OZ makes some really good light weight wheels. I have been wanting some OZ wheels for years.

Happy with my new American Racing Equipment 15s with Falken Ziex 205/50 R 15s. 205s look good on that car.
