95 neon problem?

My wife has a 95 neon sohc, It's been a great car up till now, once in awhile when she drive's it the car will idle rough then act like it's running out of fuel? then eventually die and not fire back up, after the car sit's for awhile maybe 1 hour or so, then it will start back up and act like nothing had ever happend? any clue to what may be the problem, I allready performed a code check and it revieled a O2 sensor prob. but thats been repaired and the prob. still persists to drive me crazy
Thanx Jeremy

Check your camshaft position sensor and your crankshaft position sensor. The camshaft sensor is on the head next to your valve cover (right side if facing the car) and the crankshaft sensor is at the bottom of the motor. These 2 sensors are pretty famous for dying on Neons. I just replaced my cam and crankshaft sensors a month ago. Cost about $100 and I had my fiance put them in.

Other things to check into:

- spark plugs n wires
- spark plug coil pack
- idle air controller sensor
- the other o2 sensor (neons have 2)
- throttle position sensor
- intake temperature sensor
- MAP sensor (on/near the intake manifold..mine a DOHC so its on my manifold)
- speed sensor on tranny

Just a few ideas since I had replaced all these things by the time I found out it was my speed sensor but it was cheaper than buying a new PCM like the dealer tried to get me to do.

EDIT: also check your fuel pressure (there should be a valve similar to a valve stem on your tire on the fuel rail); the fuel pump fuse too...yellow 20 amp fuse in the fuse box right behind the battery
