The engine is almost done. I primed most of the parts, and the cowl is painted.

More Progress.

Painted the wings. The back wing still needs the black.

I don't know why the pictures are so bad. I'll have better ones for you next update.

Just seen your thread.Nice start. The engine painting looks very neat, although the photos are a little dark to see it properly.

Re: WIP Tamiya 1/20 Benetton Ford B192

Hey

Thanks guys for the replys.

greg-ory: I used Camel Yellow TS34 and Park Green TS35, i believe thats what you asked lol.

Update:

I decaled some of the front wing. I am not good at decaling at all, still new to improve on it alot.

I should be finished the wing this week, and then ill do the back wing.

Re: WIP Tamiya 1/20 Benetton Ford B192

Hey,

Did some more! I did the front tires, more of the wing, painted the exuast, started the seat, and painted the undertray. I am really happy with what i have done so far.

Hope you Like, and thanks for looking.

Looking very nice especially the wing.I know from experience that those yellow decals around the wheels can be tricky but yours are looking good, nice work!!

Well if they turn out as good as the fronts don't be afraid.I found that if you trim a little of the carrier film away and slightly shorten the length of the yellow part a bit so there is less overlap, they are a little easier to apply.I also used very small quantities of Mr Mark Softer to help them to conform to the curve better.

The easiest way I've found to doing this is to trim all the carrier film and cut the decals into 3 or 4 equal length pieces.

Re: WIP Tamiya 1/20 Benetton Ford B192

Hey,

Thanks everyone.

Small Update:

I finished the back wheel. I think they came out better then the front. What i did was cut them in half then put the O.Z. Racing over the over laped layer.

I forget what this is called, but i finished it. It was simple black paint and decal didnt take me long to do.

Thanks For looking

Zubski
