the srt4 has a 100mph trap speed stock! no stock wrx can match that! stock for stock, an srt4 will walk a wrx from a roll no matter who's driving!

and this is coming from a subaru guy, even i'll admit it! do i care? hell no, there is much more to a car than straight line speed. i think my car is better than an srt4, much less a wrx.

if a car is lighter, and has more power, it's probably going to win the race.

I just noticed you were talking about the STR being a lighter car, but I was surprised when I read the weight, its not much lighter. but I think the ugly little Neon will rape a WRX. have to love American muscle

here's my question b/c i've been seeing a lot of these srt-r vs evo vs wrx threads and discussions popping up........ is the srt-4 in the same class as the evo and wrx and isn't the reason the evo and wrx cost more is b/c ur getting more and their name

there is a 5k price jump between the srt-wrx-evo and the srt is and American Fwd I wouldn’t say they were in the same class. but it does 0-60 in 5.6 but I want to see that overpowered FWD car out handle a AWD :-D

I beg to differ.......I ran an '03 WRX WAGON at a 5000+ foot altitude and got a 95+ mph trap speed....and I was being nice to it:grey: :alien:
Certainly at a stoplight drag..the WRX wins:finger: I've pulled off on SVT cobra's , C-5's , WS6's , Supra's......... I may not have always won...but nothin' beats the AWD launch.
And I'll bet BIG bucks the WRX handles much better than the SRT:alien2:
