Bora...

What’s the difference between a VW Bora and Jetta…. aren’t they the same thing?

Yes, the mk4 Jetta is the Bora sold in the US.
Just like the mk3 Jetta was called Vento in the rest of the world.

As far as I know: No.
But the 2.0 is a engine made for the NA market. Less than 1% of all Volkswagens sold in Europe is a 2.0.
Remember, Volkswagen offers four engines in the Golf/Jetta, but fourteen in the Golf/Bora.

And you won't find any differences between the Jetta and the Bora, that you won't find between the American Golf and the European Golf.

Thumbs up Re: Bora...

The vw bora has the 4 motion and fog lights in the headlights. You can buy those and the switch for those on line. They do use a 2.0 20 v motor turbo. Learn more about these at www.eurospecracing.com
