What's your next mod gonna be??

Just wondering what everyone's next go-fast mods will be? Also what's your next appearance mod?

Probably the next mod will be a MM panhard bar followed by a catback exhaust system and maybe an aluminum driveshaft.

.

S-10 - headers.
Firebird - nothing for a while. It's just going to sit there in the garage looking sad because the S-10 gets all the attention. It needs new mufflers though.

Next performance modification, an engine refresh, bearings and gaskets, as well as good rings, and a 924 Turbo headgasket, and then a 100 shot of nitrous It's only my daily driver, after all.

As for the next body modification... Probably this wing, my current little spoiler is in ratty condition.

adjustable rear sway bar and anti-lift kit. there's not really anything more i want for exterior, except maybe a carbon fiber hood, but i've got more important things to do with my money.

been wanting to turbo mt car for a long time, and i'm almost ready (~mid summer). but lately i've been debating maybe a basic supercharger and a good suspension, and if i go to japan this summer, look for a good deal on a JDM 6-speed. but i've also been thinking screw the forced induction on the subaru, just put a little suspension mods in and leave it as a daily driver, and build a champion motorcars locost seven. hmm how will i decide?

An oil change, new brake pads, maybe a couple new tires if I can afford it

For real though, saving up for that SR swap. I know the SR swap has almost become cliche for 240sx owners, but my KA has seen better days. I doubt it could handle a turbo.

Well to get any real benefit from a turbo, you'd have to rebuild your KA24 anyways. I'd say the biggest benefit of going with a KA24DE turbo conversion is that you start with a fresh engine, not one that might have been running 20psi boost since it left the showroom.

The KA can make a lot of power when its turboed, but it doesnt have the characteristics of a turbo/racing engine. Power curve, wringablility, response, cooling capacity, etc. makes the SR an appropriate engine.

I like my power to fall off at the redline, not 1000 rpm before it. Thats why I would get the SR over the KA. (Though if I could save money by turboing my current KA, I would).
