my GOLF 4 CuStom Project ---PIC'S--- UPDATE!!

hi i'm working on a golf 4 project, i just buyed the tamiya golf v5 (22euro's) in this topic i will post the pic's so you can follow me in to my project and give me feedback.

the box:


the weels i'm going to use, are from the tamiya honda nsx


hm not that low...




i'm still looking 4 some fine ICE and NOS decals so if some body has it in the right size to print please post it.

i added an rear spoiler:






to fit these big wheels, i had to make some changes, unfortenatly (?) i have to use cement to fit the large brembo disks and the rims/

We have a member here at AF by the name of pcmodeler ; he produces the decals you need for the completion of your project. They are of top quality and I highly recommend them They are on the Skyline in my signature below.

what paint do you guys like?
i think metallic blue with creme/sand intriour.

do you have any tips how to make carpet in your car?

I have heard of people using tissue paper for carpets...

No offence, but the wheels seem a tad bit big for the body. I'd suggest removing the bridgestone potenza decals. If the wheels aren't glued together, you could try flipping them for us (put the decals on the inside) to get a better idea.


As for paint, I'd recommend metallic black with white decals. Which would look good with the Potenza decals if you don't want to remove them.

Looks cool. I agree with the others in removing the potenza decals on the wheels. Also, how do you go about using legos as an exhaust?

i leave the tyre-decals on the tyres, black would be an nice 'color' indeed.

i also added a frontlip spoiler from a NSX.
