golf, good project car?

hey guys i was considering and mk2 golf or perhaps a rabbit as a possible project car. are engine swaps difficult for these cars? any feedback would be appreciated.

Many engine swaps are possible if you can find a complete donor vehicle. There are numerous sources with how-to info. Check the GTI threads where there's alot more discussion on this topic.
