165-175 at the front wheels???? *cough* bullshit *cough*

Ok, I have a JDM SiR with the gen 1 B16A installed at the factory.

First dyno reading was 79.8 KW at the front wheels. After a replacement 'teg XSi throttle body and new catalytic convertor went on it hit 86.2 KW at the front wheels. That's real time dyno figures, not BS mag-racer figures.

That's 107hp at the front wheels on the first run and 115.7hp on the second run. Stock engine except for a reusable custom air filter insert.

Admittedly I have air-con and powersteering belts sucking prolly 10hp, but to claim a Gen 1 B16A puts out more power at the wheels than it does at the flywheel is a crock of shit unless it's been radically modified and is prolly mag-racer figures in the first place.

Chill out guys...it really isn't that big a deal I figure that my b16a is putting out about 135-140 to the wheels in doing some rudimentary math calculations. But that is just a guess from 1/4 mile time and drivetrain losses. So until I get it dynoed I have no clue what the "real" numbers are.

I am just guessing as well, I am stupid to the "whp", I did not know what the kid meant by that at first., But anyway I was just guessing about my bhp at the flywheel as well. The dyno that I have been to is gone, so I can't get it done any more. And mine was done long before any mods.
and was not very much at the wheels, very low compared to the factory specs at the fly wheel.
That Aussie should't shoot his mouth off with out asking first.

I am sorry, I will refrain from lashing out in the future.

I am not some punk ass kid trying to be somebody I'm not.
I am 31 and I don't lie about things I have or do. So I don't need any disrespect from anybody. I am the easiest person in the word to get along with, just don't treat me like I am some freak who doesn't know his ass from his elbow.

It's cool man. I just didn't want this to start a flame war because it seems that this kind of thing will set one off.

Mine should be around there. 91zc dont u have bolt ons? I think u should put a lil over 140? Anyways my friend have no header and just and intake and ctr pistons, he also have ctr mid pipe. He put out 151 atw on his 5th gen hatchie with a first gen b16 motor. Pretty good i'd say.
