Directed towards rap music? Oh man come on...

You wont win any SQ competitions with them, but compared to your stocks they will be a dream come true!

seriously......if it puts out more high than mid then it's deffinately made more for rap....i meen if it sounds better with more high than mid.....you know....say your listening to slayer one minute and you might have your deck set to 8 treb and 4 mid and next you switch to Ludacris your gonna turn down the mid to atleast zero....most rap doesnt have mid it's all vocals wich is high and bass obviously.......either youve never really listened to a system that sounds right or you just dont know what your talking about......go argue with chris....a sound engineer... actuall his name is Thecrhris

www.audiodiscounters.com and tell me whos gonna win that arguement

call him out....why the fuck would i make up something like that...

heehee, sorry scorch, but he's right.

sparq:
i saw them on ebay for $70. are there any better comp sets for under $100? im not very picky about sq, i just dont want some pos speakers. and actually right now i have a pair of kenwood 2way's, better than stock, but not a lot. from some that ive seen these have a higher wattage capability, 140wrms. and i was going to use a jensen xa2250(2x125wrms) to run them, so i thought that would match well powerwise.

if you go to Ikesound you might be able to find what your looking for. I ordered a new amp and 2 new subs from there and they had the best price for what i ordered.

I dont know if you had your heart set on components or not, but the 2 way Crystal Mobilesound speakers that I got are wonderful! I know mine cost like $70, but I know they sell comp sets too, you should look into them!

Where did you get yours? You're in Cleveland right? Was it a local shop? I live about an hour away and I'm shopping around for some new speakers and I want to hear different brands before I decide.

Na, I got mine from www.sounddomain.com I never got to hear them before I got mine, I just took some advice from Gsteg. I never heard about Crystal until he told me about them. Now that they are in, I love them and wouldn't want anything else.

go with crystalmobilesound like thewhoana did. for the price, its hard to beat.

ah yes..i remember thechris. smart guy

even though i haven't heard the audiobahn comps, from their reputation, they aren't made so high quality. they tend to overrate some of their products, like their subs...who's gonna believe a sensitivity of 96db?

does anyone know what the rating is on the set? ive heard two different things. one site said its 140wrms per woofer, and another said 140w for the combined pair. its too late now since im already stuck buying them, but i was just curious so i dont wire them incorrectly.

that used to be rather popular, before the high power - low box size subs became so popular.
